After many years in the making, Earth’s Outlet, marketing arm of VermiTechnology Unlimited, LLC and its exclusive Texas distributor, successfully incorporated in the state of Texas, May 29, 2009.

Mark Smith, principal owner of Earth’s Outlet, Inc., began researching the vermicomposting industry over fourteen years prior to the creation of the private corporation.  During his years of research, he developed many key contacts and friendships, including that of Larry Martin, owner of VTU and producer of the increasingly popular Black Castings™ pure worm casting product.  Operating first as an independent manufacturer’s representative, then as a distributor under the sole proprietorship of Earth’s Outlet, Smith successfully introduced to the Texas horticultural and agricultural industries VTU’s flagship Black Castings™ organic fertilizer as well as its more recently developed liquid casting extract, VermaPlex®.

“Earth’s Outlet is committed to great customer service, thus the principle of BRC was coined – Beyond Reasonable Care,” states Smith.  “Our employees, customers and everyone we work with define our company. By working to earn their loyalty, we build a foundation for everyone’s benefit.”  He adds that it’s this dedication to BRC during his 35 years of servicing industry that has brought him to where he is today as president of the company.

Earth’s Outlet, Inc. is hitting the ground running, having several years of active distribution under its belt and a customer base that includes the famous Teas Nursery of Houston, the Texas Department of Transportation, and the USDA-ARS. The move to incorporate has been in the works since the inception of the sole proprietorship. “It took some time, but we wanted to make sure the steps were done right,” Smith explains. “We have a long future ahead of us, and we have the potential to benefit a lot of people promoting natural and healthy fertilizers, like Black Castings™ and VermaPlex®.”
